According to AnTuTu's latest performance rankings, the Dimensity 9300 relies on its advantages such as its ultra-large core architecture to dominate the flagship performance rankings with a score of 2.2 million points, becoming the number one Android phone. As usual, Dimensity 9400 will be launched in the second half of this year, and the latest specifications have been exposed.
According to the blogger Digital Chat Station, the current test sample of Dimensity 9400 is a 1*X5 iterative ultra-large core + 3*X4 ultra-large core architecture. Compared with the 9300, it has an upgraded X5 ultra-large core, and the ultimate performance will be stronger.
At the same time, Dimensity 9400 will also use the second-generation TSMC 3nm process, which can bring stronger performance.
It is reported that TSMC’s first-generation 3nm process is N3B, which is currently exclusive to Apple’s A17Pro and M3 series chips.
TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process is N3E. N3E is expected to be more widely used than N3B, with higher yield and lower cost.
In addition to the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip mentioned earlier, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen4 and A18 series chips will use the N3E process.
The news mentioned that the first model is still an old teammate, that is, vivo has launched the Dimensity 9300. According to product planning, it is speculated that the Dimensity 9400 will be launched as an X series iteration model.
It should be noted that the current serial number of this series has reached X100. I wonder whether the next generation name will be changed to vivoX200, and so on.
