In preparation for Friday's Vision Pro shipments, Apple has opened up the headset's individual app listings. There's still no good way to search for VisionPro apps outside of the headset. However, the single list of apps known to run on Apple Vision Pro has a page dedicated to the platform.
In this example, Apple's Photos app has a separate page dedicated to the headset. The page also has regular screenshots of the product and update instructions.
Currently, there's no good way to search for apps when the platform launches. Apple said earlier Thursday that the platform will launch with more than 600 native apps, or apps designed to run on the hardware, not just iPad apps on the headset.
Apple's highlighted productivity apps include major products such as the previously announced Microsoft 365, as well as:
OmniFocus
OmniPlan
Fantastical
MindNode
Box
Numerics
JigSpace
Navitranslations
Apple Vision Pro will also launch a series of educational applications. These applications range from astronomy to medicine and include:
solAR
SkyGuideandNightSky
NASA'sMarsExplorer
InsightHeart
CellWalk
CompleteHeartX
Shopping apps are also coming to Apple Vision Pro:
J.CrewVirtualCloset
Mytheresa:LuxuryExperience
ZillowImmerse
Decathlon
Lowe'sStyleStudio
