It turns out that Google has already prepared the change log before the product is released. According to the news posted by netizen @AndrewCurran_, the change log for 2024.02.07 has been prepared in Google Bard. This change log cannot be queried at the front desk yet, but it can be called up in some ways.
The as-yet-unreleased update mentions the following changes:
1. GoogleBard was officially renamed Gemini (ie Gemini);
2. The interface of Gemini (formerly Bard) will be optimized, including reducing visual interference, improving readability and simplifying navigation;
3. Launch GeminiAdvanced (this version is expected to be $20/month and has not been mentioned in the log);
4. Open GeminiAdvanced and you will be able to use GeminiUltra version 1.0;
5. GeminiUltra version 1.0 is Google’s most powerful AI model;
6. Launched the Gemini independent application, which can be downloaded from the AppStore or Google Play from now on (not available at the time of publication of this article);
According to Google's instructions, the Gemini standalone application will initially be available in English, Korean, and Japanese, and will be available in more countries or regions and in more languages later.
However, due to EU and UK related policy regulations, initially the Gemini standalone application will not support European Economic Area member states, the UK and Switzerland, and these countries or regions will need to wait longer.
Since the time marked in this update log is February 7, 2024, if converted according to Pacific time, the domestic time is February 8.
