Airbus officially announced that the second final assembly line project of Airbus Tianjin A320 series aircraft has started.The project is planned to be officially put into operation at the end of 2025, when it will have the production capacity of A320 and A321 aircraft.According to reports, after the completion of the second final assembly line project of Airbus Tianjin A320 series aircraft, it will further increase the final assembly capacity of Airbus Tianjin A320 and A321 aircraft, forming an overall layout of two single-aisle aircraft final assembly lines and a wide-body aircraft completion and delivery center in Tianjin.

The Airbus A320 series aircraft Asian final assembly line in Tianjin was opened in 2008.It is Airbus' first civil aircraft final assembly line outside Europe.

Up to now, the Airbus Tianjin A320 series aircraft final assembly line has completed the final assembly and delivered more than 630 single-aisle aircraft since it was put into operation.

In June this year, an A321neo aircraft assembled at the Airbus Asia final assembly line in Tianjin was successfully delivered to Hungary’s WIZZ Air.This is also the first time Airbus has delivered A321neo aircraft assembled in Tianjin to a European customer.
