New trailer:

In the film, Patel plays the nameless protagonist, a depressed man who spends his days in underground fight clubs collecting money to be beaten up by boxers as a human punching bag. After years of suppressing his anger, he finally found a way to infiltrate the city's underground society and take revenge on the corrupt leader who killed his mother and persecuted the poor for many years. He has long-standing grudges and vows to wipe out all the villains' forces.

"Monkey Man" is partly inspired by the god of war in the Indian epic "Ramayana" - the monkey god Hanuman, who serves as a symbol of strength and courage in the movie. The rest of the cast of the film also includes: Shartto Copley, Sobhita Dhuripala, Sikan Dhakur and other Indian actors.
