At 4:55 pm Eastern Time on Thursday, March 21, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket took off from the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40 in Florida. This was the company’s 30th Commercial Resupply Services (Commercial Resupply Services) mission to the International Space Station for NASA.

The Dragon spacecraft will carry more than 6,000 pounds of research, hardware and supplies to the International Space Station and is expected to remain at the orbiting outpost for about a month before returning to Earth with research and return cargo, landing off the coast of Florida.

The spacecraft will arrive at the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday, March 23, EST, and is expected to dock with the cargo spacecraft around 7:30 a.m. ET. Watch the arrival live on NASA+, NASA TV, the NASA app and the agency's website:

After arriving at the space station, the "Dragon" spacecraft will dock with the "Harmony" module of the space station. NASA astronauts Loral O'Hara and Michael Barratt will monitor the spacecraft's arrival.
