EA's annual football series will be renamed from FIFA to EASports FC this year, although as expected, this will have little impact on the game's sales. According to the UK weekly physical sales data released by Gfk, "EA Sports FC24" is the second strongest physical version of the game released in the UK this year, second only to "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" and ahead of "Hogwarts Legacy".

However, there are some things to note. Compared with last year's "FIFA23", its physical sales dropped by 30%. Dring said that this is in line with EA's expectations for the "short-term impact" of the above-mentioned rebranding on sales. On the other hand, EASports FC24 Switch version saw a "slight" increase in initial physical sales compared to last year, as it is an updated version of the game rather than the Legacy Editions released for Switch in previous years.

In fact, the NS version of this game is the only one among all platforms to have a year-on-year increase in physical release sales. It accounted for 9% of the game's total UK physical sales.

"EA Sports FC24" is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
