Sharp has launched a mid-range mobile phone, AQUOS Sense8, with a built-in Snapdragon 6Gen1 chip, priced at 62,150 yen (equivalent to approximately RMB 3,042). It is equipped with a 6.1-inch IGZOOLED water drop screen, 2342*1080 resolution, peak brightness 1300nit, and supports 1-90Hz adaptive refresh rate, and also supports“Black frame insertion” claims to extend the refresh rate to up to 180Hz.

In terms of imaging, AQUOS Sense8 has a 50.3-megapixel main camera on the rear with a 1/1.55-inch photosensitive unit, supports OIS optical image stabilization, has native 2x zoom, and another 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

In terms of battery life, the phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery, which has improved battery life compared to the previous generation. Charging specifications have not been announced, but the official charging time is 160 minutes.

As a mid-range machine, Sharp AQUOS Sense8 even has IP68 dustproof and waterproof capabilities, but it is somewhat inferior in wireless transmission. It only supports WiFi5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.1 transmission, and the storage is only available in 6+128GB version, which is only available in Japan.
