According to rumors, the Nintendo Switch 2 will not feature an OLED screen, but it will still come with some features that differentiate it from its predecessor, the original model. Over on the GamingLeaks subforum, SoldierDelta provided an update after sharing a tentative release date for the next-gen Nintendo console, saying the console will have some AR features, likely related to the rumored new camera feature. legacy

Unfortunately, the console won't have an OLED screen, which feels like a step back considering how beautiful games look on the current OLED models of the Switch.

SoldierDelta also provided some more information on Nintendo Switch 2 pricing and release date. While their source reiterated that the console will launch in two different models, pricing for those two models has yet to be confirmed, so it may differ from the $400 and $449 figures provided last week. Additionally, while the console is scheduled to be released on September 24th, Nintendo is considering November 3rd as an alternate release date in case something goes wrong.

While SoldierDelta has proven that they have access to inside information, we must be cautious about anything they reveal about the Nintendo Switch 2. If the console does indeed launch in late 2024, it will be months before we finally learn more about the system.
