Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Tianfeng International, expects Tesla’s Cybertruck to begin deliveries by the end of this year, not earlier. The analyst, known for his Apple predictions, said Cybertruck shipments will reach 100-200 units by the end of 2023. In 2024, this number will increase to 100,000 to 120,000 vehicles, and in 2025 it will further increase to 240,000 to 260,000 vehicles.

The analyst believes that Cybertruck will make a significant contribution to Tesla's revenue and profit growth in the coming years. This contribution is not diminished by seasonal factors or economic downturns.

The analyst also expects Tesla to release some versions of the Cybertruck with tweaked specifications before launching the second-generation Cybertruck, but without major changes like Tesla's other models. He added that deliveries of the second-generation Cybertruck likely won't begin until the 2030s.

Until then, the analyst writes, the Cybertruck will maintain a competitive advantage thanks to its innovative design.
