Bandai Namco has announced a new Pac-Man battle royale game, and it looks quite strange. The full name of this game is "Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs", which supports 64 players to fight against each other, but only one person can win. You'll have to eat energy balls, ghosts, and... other Pac-Men to become the final champion, and try not to let the cannibalistic effects bother you for too long.

ChompChamps will offer full cross-platform play, as well as casual and ranked modes to test your mettle against other Pac-Man Battle Royale fans.

The game will have players compete in a series of differently themed mazes. When the maze collapses, you also have to jump from one maze to another, which is also very consistent with the poisonous circle setting in the chicken game.

Players can also add various appearances to customize their Pac-Man, making your eye-catching yellow dot even more unique.

If "ChompChamps" looks familiar to you, it may be because you have played the original "MegaTunnel Battle" before, which was an exclusive game launched on Stadia in 2020. Of course, due to the bankruptcy of the Stadia platform, these exclusive games on this platform have either disappeared or been transferred to other systems. The former exclusive game "Gylt" also launched a multi-platform version in the summer.

Like the original Stadia version, Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs will be an online-only game, so you won't be able to play it solo or just with friends in local multiplayer.
