News on October 15,The hoisting of the first batch of 1.2 million kilowatt wind turbines of the State Power Investment Corporation's Ulanqab Wind Power Base Phase I 6 million kilowatt demonstration project has been completed.At the scene, the fan impeller and the main engine were accurately connected at an altitude of 107 meters, marking the completion of the hoisting of all 216 fans in the project.
After the full capacity of 6 million kilowatts of wind power is connected to the grid, it can provide 18 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity every year., can replace 6 million tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 15.3 million tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 45,000 tons, and soot emissions by 7,560 tons.
After the project is completed, intermittent new energy can provide reliable power support for the power grid during peak load periods, alleviate the peak load regulation pressure on the power grid, and improve the power grid's new energy consumption capacity.
According to the State Power Investment Group, the project makes full use of the favorable terrain conditions and abundant wind energy resources in the construction area to create "six demonstrations" of "new energy +" demonstration, advanced technology demonstration, smart intelligence demonstration, engineering construction demonstration, ecological improvement demonstration, and social benefit demonstration. The demonstration will drive the main models of China's wind power industry to update and iterate from the 2.0 era to the 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0 eras.
