According to news on October 15, foreign media reporter Jason Schreier posted on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Friday that he had conversations with several employees at Activision Blizzard this week and they were "all very excited" about the deal.

However, some netizens showed a negative attitude and questioned: "Where is the excitement? It's still the same old thing, about reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and increasing profits. In the end, consumers and developers suffer. I'm tired of this kind of short-sighted company, please forgive me for being rude!"

Jason further replied to the netizen above: "The changes in the C-suite make them very excited." (Note: C-suite refers to the general name of the company's top leadership, covering all types of chief XX officers/XX chiefs in the Chinese context)

After Microsoft announced the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Activision CEO Bobby Caudick sent a letter to employees stating that Phil Spencer asked him to continue to serve as Activision Blizzard CEO and report to him. Ultimately, Caudick agreed to complete this task before the end of 2023. This means that Caudick will officially resign at the end of this year.
