Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed on the X platform over the weekend that Tesla cars can now drive him around the streets of Austin all day long without human intervention, even during the crowded Austin City Limits (ACL) music festival.
Musk was responding to a post from one of his fans, who posted a video of himself driving a Tesla car without a driver behind the wheel, writing: "It's now normal for my car to drive itself entirely on computer vision, without my intervention. Not surprising. Not shocking. Normal. Unsurprising. Commonplace. Everyone makes fun of Elon Musk, but he's right. Tesla has deep insights on this issue."
Musk responded: "The car drove me around Austin all day without any intervention, despite the ACL Music Festival crowd! In the near future, people will wonder why anyone was ever so skeptical of self-driving."
