Earlier today, following the official launch of Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 on July 10, Samsung launched these two mobile phones globally. To celebrate the launch of the two phones, Samsung has launched a fanciful campaign in the UK, folding up an iconic red London bus to promote its new foldable smartphones.
The folding bus is part of a larger art project called Folding City, which also includes folding benches, lamp posts and the iconic red phone box. As part of the event, the Laojie subway station was temporarily renamed Folding Street.
Samsung proudly declares that this folding bus is a single-decker bus, 6 meters long and 6.2 meters wide. It folds upward at a 90-degree angle and the rear is "nearly 6 meters off the ground."
The bus was created by artist Caspar Philips and includes "a wealth of recycled materials" from real London buses. It is built to the exact proportions of a real single-decker bus and took two months to design and build.
