Recently, after the release of Diablo 4 Season 2, Blizzard released a new video on its social media, which introduced the new changes brought to the game in Season 2, but this move was once again criticized by players. "Diablo 4" streamer Raxxanterax pointed out the errors in the video. These are not obscure and hard-to-find errors. Even ordinary numerical calculations Blizzard got wrong.
The first is a comparison of the dungeon layout between the first and second seasons of "Diablo 4". Blizzard reversed the layout after the change and the layout before the change. It listed the layout after the new second season as before, and the old layout as after.
Then came the display of experience gain. Blizzard made a low-level error in the numerical calculation. Before the change: the calculation result of 1000xp multiplied by 40% was actually 1040xp (the correct one should be 1400). After the change, Blizzard changed the percentage into a decimal and said that the result of two separate 1.2x gains of 1000xp was 1400xp (actually 1440).
There are many similar error videos, and Blizzard has now removed the video. But the whole thing is quite strange, and players are surprised how this video was produced and approved before being released.
