On July 25, BYD held a press conference in Kaifeng, Henan, announcing that the new Song LDM-i and Song PlusDM-i were officially released and launched. The two new cars will be equipped with the fifth-generation DM hybrid system. The official NEDC fuel consumption is 3.9L per 100 kilometers, the range is 1,500km, and the price range is 135,800-175,800 yuan.


BYD said that the Song LDM-i and Song PLUS DM-i, which use fifth-generation DM technology, have an NEDC fuel consumption of 3.9L per 100 kilometers and a comprehensive cruising range of 1,500km on full fuel and full power. At the same time, BYD also showed the test results of some media. Under the specific working conditions experienced by the media, the two cars can achieve a range of more than 2,000km on full fuel and full power.

The two cars will use front MacPherson and rear four-link independent suspension, equipped with CST comfortable parking and FSD variable damping shock absorbers, and come standard with on-board ETC, which can be used by binding WeChat. It can charge from 30% to 80% in the fastest 17 minutes, and supports a maximum external discharge of 6kW. DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system will also be provided to provide L2+ assisted driving capabilities.


Song PLUSDM-i is available in four exterior colors: Gray Smoke, Time and Space Gray, Snowy White, and Delan Black. The body length, width, and height are 4775/1890/1670mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2765mm.


Song LDM-i is available in four exterior colors: citrine grey, ice amber green, green blue and jade white. The body length, width and height are 4780/1898/1670mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2782mm.

As a brand-new model, Song LDM-i will also be equipped with a 15.6-inch large rotatable hollow screen, crystal gear knob, 10-speaker INFINITY audio, 31-color ambient lighting, seat ventilation, steering wheel heating and other configurations.
