AMD's Ryzen U series is not only popular among thin and light notebooks due to its high energy efficiency, but also won many handheld designs. The most special one is GPDWinMax2, which integrates handheld computers and mini gaming notebooks. However, this exotic product that has attracted much attention has repeatedly been delayed and has not been shipped. Many players who pre-ordered have never been able to get the product.

In this regard,GPD announced that the initial shipment plan could satisfy all players, but it is now out of stock because the upstream supplier violated the agreement. The actual supply of Ryzen 77840U processors was different from what was previously agreed. After the first batch was given, there was no further progress.
GPD bluntly stated that AMD violated the contract and failed to provide enough processors as promised to prevent further production.
Currently, the only available version of GPDWinMax2 is Ryzen 77640U, 16GB, and 1TB. All others are out of stock, even Ryzen 77640U, 32GB, and 2TB are out of stock.
AMD has not yet responded.
