The Indian IT industry has long been a leader in global technology outsourcing, but Vietnamese developers have gradually "overturned" the Indian workplace with lower costs and longer working hours.Previously, the Indian IT industry was known for its strong English skills, superb technology and low costs. However, the situation has recently reversed, and Southeast Asian countries have provided services at cheaper prices, weakening India's competitiveness.

American companies began to shift outsourcing operations to countries such as the Philippines and Vietnam, affecting jobs in India.

Vietnam's IT industry is developing rapidly, producing about 80,000 IT graduates every year, a large number of whom specialize in computer science, information technology and other related fields.

Data from Vietnamese solutions company InCorp shows that the minimum monthly salary for IT practitioners in Vietnam is about 1,200 yuan, which is far lower than the salary of Indian developers.

What is even more striking is that Vietnamese developers are willing to work nearly 12 hours a day. This high-intensity work model is changing the landscape of the outsourcing industry.

In contrast, even the annual salary of senior developers in India is far from the average level in European and American countries, and Indian employees are in danger of being replaced.

Although Vietnamese developers have low costs, they are relatively weak in expressing themselves in English because the main language used in Vietnam is Vietnamese, which may affect the efficiency of communication with international customers.
