A survey shows that more than half of Tesla owners in the United States have switched to fuel vehicles. According to the latest research from Edmunds, more than half of U.S. Tesla owners will give up electric vehicles and switch to fuel vehicles in 2024, while only 32% of owners will continue to choose pure electric models.
51% of Tesla owners switched to traditional fuel vehicles, 10% chose hybrid models, and 6% chose plug-in hybrid models.
What's even more interesting is that more and more buyers are replacing Teslas with electric vehicles from other traditional automakers.
Although new energy vehicles are a major development trend in the future, for current American users, they are far less comfortable to drive than fuel vehicles. The reasons are also very obvious:
1. The current gas price in the United States is very cheap, which is the first factor that many American car owners consider;
2. The infrastructure for new energy vehicles in the United States is too imperfect. Many people have to consider the difficulty of charging the car after buying it.
