The RX7000 series has been assembled, and the RX6000 series suddenly comes to "make trouble" again! But this time it's a good thing. Because the price of "dessert cards" used to be around 1,500-2,000 yuan, but now cards with four to five thousand yuan dare to call themselves desserts, which is really out of reach. The entry-level models of the new generation of new cards, whether RX7600 or RTX4060, are more than 2,000 yuan.

The AMD RX6750GRE series released today, as the second graphics card named "GRE" after the RX7900GRE, brings different choices.
The RX6750GRE series is designed to meet the market demand in the price range below 2,400 yuan, because data shows that as many as 67% of players purchase graphics cards in this price range.
However, in the past, this type of graphics card could not perform well in games even at 1080p resolution, and the video memory capacity was generally only 8GB or less, which could not meet the demand for high image quality.
RX6750GRE is still based on the extremely energy-efficient and very successful RDNA2 architecture, specifically the Navi22 core, which can provide excellent gaming performance at 1080p, 2K resolution, and provide large-capacity video memory of 10GB and 12GB.
RX6750GRE is divided into two versions, and the specifications are quite different.
RX6750GRE12GB uses the same full-blooded Navi22XT core as RX6700XT/6750XT, all have 40 sets of computing units (2560 stream processors), 40 light tracing units, 96MB unlimited cache, and the core frequency is2439-2581MHz, slightly lower than RX6750XT2495-2600MHz.
Video memory is the same192-bit width 12GBGDDR6, but the equivalent frequency drops from 18GHz to 16GHz, and the bandwidth is 384GB/s.
The power consumption of the entire card is 230W, which is also reduced by 20W.
RX6750GRE10GB is streamlined to 36 sets of computing units (2304 stream processors), 80MB unlimited cache, the core frequency is reduced to 2189-2450MHz, the video memory is reduced to 160-bit10GB, and the frequency remains at 16GHz.
The power consumption of the whole card is further reduced to 170W, even lower than RX6650XT.
In terms of performance, AMD guarantees that the RX6750GRE series can bring 60+FPS smooth performance to 3A games at 2K resolution and the highest native image quality, and the large 10/12GB video memory can meet future game needs.
Speaking of video memory, AMD also conducted a detailed analysis of the previous generation flagship RX6950XT16GB as an example.
According to actual experience, at 2K resolution and the highest image quality, many games can consume more than 12GB of video memory, such as "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" and "Far Cry 6". There are also many games that require close to 10GB of video memory. As a result, if a card only has 8GB of video memory, it will be stretched.
RX6950GRE12GB can easily meet this demand. In the game "Far Cry 6", compared with 8GB of video memory, it can bring an average frame rate increase of about 45% and a minimum frame rate increase of nearly 50% by 1%, making the game smoother and achieving higher image quality.
In addition, light chasing combined with FSR super-resolution technology, although not as impressive as NVIDIA DLSS, can still bring significant image quality improvements and performance improvements.
Now,AMD has a new generation of super-resolution technology FSR3, frame generation technology, and AFMF smooth moving frame technology., it is the first time that frame generation is implemented at the driver level, unlike the NVIDIARTX40 series, which must rely on specific hardware.
Games like "The Cursed Land" already natively support FSR3 and frame generation. Once turned on, you can get an immediate performance improvement, which can reach an astonishing 3 times.
Popular games like "Cyberpunk 2077" that do not yet support FSR3 and frame generation technology can double their performance through AFMF technology.
However, AMD's technology has just been released after all. It supports very few games, and the compatibility and performance are not very good. Especially since AFMF is implemented through drivers, the effect cannot be compared with the native one.
Finally, don’t forget AMD’s traditional skills, SAM technology, which has long been the default option on the AMD platform. Pairing your own graphics card with your own processor can get significant performance bonuses.
AMD claims that RX6750GRE12GB paired with Ryzen 57600X can achieve up to 23% performance improvement in games after turning on SAM, which directly jumps up a notch.
The domestic price of RX6750GRE12GB is 2,379 yuan, and the domestic price of RX6750GRE10GB is 2,219 yuan. They will be available from October 18.
There is no public version this time, and non-public brands include ASUS, Gigabyte, Vertex, Sapphire, and XFX.
