Nvidia announced on Wednesday that it will cooperate with Hon Hai Technology Group, the parent company of Foxconn, to accelerate the artificial intelligence industry revolution. Hon Hai Group will integrate Nvidia's technology to develop a new type of data center to power a wide range of applications, including the digitization of manufacturing and inspection workflows, the development of AI-driven electric vehicles and robotics platforms, and a growing number of language-based generative AI services.

At the Hon Hai Group Technology Day event in Taipei, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang and Hon Hai Group Chairman Liu Yangwei announced that the cooperation began with the creation of the Artificial Intelligence Factory - NVIDIA's GPU computing infrastructure, dedicated to processing, refining and converting large amounts of data into valuable AI models and tokens - based on NVIDIA's accelerated computing platform, including the latest NVIDIA GH200 GraceHopper super chip and NVIDIA AI enterprise software.

Hon Hai's smart electric vehicles will be built on NVIDIA's DRIVE Hyperion 9, a next-generation platform for autonomous driving fleets and powered by NVIDIA's DRIVEThor, its future automotive SoC chip.

Hon Hai's intelligent manufacturing robot system will be built on Nvidia's Isaac autonomous mobile robot platform.

Hon Hai's smart city project will integrate Nvidia's Metropolis intelligent video analysis platform.
