According to news on October 18, the United States has upgraded new regulations for the control of AI chips, which has also made chip giants such as Nvidia uncomfortable. Regarding this situation, the U.S. Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) issued a statement,Unilateral sanctions that are too broad could harm the U.S. semiconductor ecosystem without strengthening national security by encouraging overseas customers to look elsewhere. Therefore, we urge the U.S. government to strengthen coordination with allies to ensure a level playing field for all companies.

In terms of revenue, SIA members account for 99% of the U.S. semiconductor industry and nearly two-thirds of non-U.S. chip companies.
