RX7900M enables 72 sets of computing units, 4608 stream processors, 72 light tracing units, 144 AI units, and 64MB second-generation unlimited cache.
Although it is not as good as RX7900GRE, it is more than double that of RX7600MXT.
The core game frequency is 1825MHz, and the acceleration frequency is up to 2090MHz, which is not very high.
The video memory is256-bit16GBGDDR6, frequency 18GHz, bandwidth 576GB/s.
The maximum power consumption of the entire card is 180W, but it can be flexibly configured, such as reducing it to 160W. With the Ryzen processor and SmartShift technology, it can release up to 200W.
In comparison, the RTX4090 mobile version has a maximum power consumption of 150W, and can reach 175W after adding dynamic acceleration.
AMD claims,The performance of RX7900M is 7% ahead on average compared to RTX40802K resolution, and the video memory capacity is 1/3 more.
The RX7900M gaming laptop currently only has Dell’s Alienware m18R1, which costs $2,080., while RX7600MXT120W and RTX4090150-175W are optional.
Here comes the question: Will there be another RX7900MXT?
