According to news on October 20, JAC Motors issued an announcement yesterday evening stating that the company plans to transfer some assets through public listing, involving the inventory, fixed assets, projects under construction, buildings and land use rights of the Passenger Car Company's third factory, as well as the Passenger Car Company's Xinqiao factory structures and equipment assets. The assessed value of the assets to be transferred is 4.498 billion yuan.

According to the "Daily Economic News" report, we learned from people familiar with the matter that the two factories involved in the asset transfer of JAC are actually the two factories jointly owned by JAC and NIO, the JAC NIO Advanced Manufacturing Base and NIO's Second Advanced Manufacturing Base.

In this regard, according to the response obtained by "Daily Economic News" from Weilai for verification, "The company has obtained relevant information about the partner and confirmed that this action will not affect the company's subsequent production and operation activities. The company will communicate on relevant matters at the appropriate time and will not comment on the matter before then."

In addition, people familiar with the matter revealed to "Daily Economic News" that Weilai may acquire the above-mentioned Jianghuai Automobile assets and further seek independent production qualifications.
