Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said that Apple does not plan to launch a new iPad until around March 2024. In a recent "PowerOn" newsletter, Gurman explained that a new Apple Pencil with USB-C port will be launched ahead of the spring iPad refresh.

He also said that Apple has been developing the 11th generation iPad, 7th generation iPad mini and 6th generation iPad Air for some time.
Apple apparently plans to release a new iPad in March, which may include "at least" these three updated devices. A next-generation iPad Pro is also possible, but currently only the "smaller" iPad update appears to be locked in spring.
Gurman added that he expects the first-generation Apple Pencil to be discontinued along with the ninth-generation iPad, as Apple will no longer be shipping new iPads with the Lightning connector. The change is not expected to "happen anytime soon."
