Mercedes-Benz officials recently released a set of spy photos of actual road tests of the new pure electric Mercedes-Benz V-Class. It is expected that this new model will be officially released early next year. It is reported that the new car is built based on the Mercedes-Benz VAN.EA electric architecture and is equipped with the new MB.OS car-machine system.The current Mercedes-Benz EQV will be released in July 2023. Its design is highly consistent with the fuel version and can be regarded as the electric version of the fuel version V-Class.

At the end of August this year, Fujian Benz launched the domestically produced new V-Class and Vito. The new V-Class has a guide price starting from 496,800 yuan, and the new Vito has a guide price starting from 336,800 yuan.

Judging from the officially released spy photos of the new car, the front face shape of the new pure electric Mercedes-Benz V-Class is significantly different from the current EQV.

In terms of appearance, the front of the vehicle is higher, and the center grille is equipped with a camera and radar module, which is expected to support high-end driving assistance systems.

The body design of the new car is relatively square, equipped with double-sided electric sliding doors, and the window area is large, which is expected to enhance the transparency inside the car. In addition, the road test car is also equipped with AMG-style rims.

The interior of the new pure electric Mercedes-Benz V-Class has not yet been exposed, but it is expected to be significantly different from the current EQV.

The current Mercedes-Benz EQV is equipped with dual 12.3-inch integrated screens and is equipped with the MBUX car-computer interaction system.

In terms of power, the new pure electric Mercedes-Benz V-Class is built on an 800-volt high-voltage architecture and provides two drive modes: front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.

However, Mercedes-Benz has not released specific power information of the car.

For reference, the current Mercedes-Benz EQV in overseas markets provides a front-mounted single motor with front-wheel drive. The motor has a maximum power of 150 kilowatts and a peak torque of 362 N·m.

In terms of battery, the EQV250 has a matching capacity of 60 kWh battery pack, and the cruising range under WLTP operating conditions is between 244 kilometers and 246 kilometers; the EQV300 has a matching capacity of 90 kWh battery pack, and the cruising range under WLTP operating conditions is between 362 kilometers and 365 kilometers.

The new pure electric Mercedes-Benz V-Class is expected to have significant improvements over the current EQV in terms of power, energy consumption and intelligent driving assistance.
