According to the Anhui Provincial Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center and the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Quantum Computing Chips,Recently, my country's first superconducting quantum computer manufacturing chain has started upgrading and expansion.The core aspects of superconducting quantum computer manufacturing such as independent quantum chip production and complete machine assembly will be further improved, and my country's independent manufacturing capabilities of superconducting quantum computers will be enhanced.
Dr. Jia Zhilong, deputy director of the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Quantum Computing Chips, said:The 72-bit "Wukong Core" developed by my country's first quantum chip production line has been running stably on the "Origin Wukong" for more than 9 months.
The scale of the production line is currently being expanded, and efforts are being made to develop a new generation of superconducting quantum chips with better performance, higher bit numbers, and stronger stability.
The existing complete machine assembly room for independent superconducting quantum computers has also begun to expand.
According to reports, the existing machine assembly room can accommodate up to 5 superconducting quantum computers being assembled at the same time. After the expansion, it will meet the demand for at least 8 superconducting quantum computers to be assembled at the same time.
On January 6 this year, my country's third-generation independent superconducting quantum computer "Origin Wukong" went online and has completed 270,000 quantum computing tasks sent by 133 countries around the world.
This is the first time that China's quantum computing power has been opened to the world on a large scale and for a long time, marking that our country has officially entered the era of "available" quantum computing power.
