On October 24, baking appliance brand Hai's issued a statement on its official Weibo today in response to content related to Hai's ovens posted by a salesperson from JD.com in his circle of friends. The statement stated that the Hai's brand has not signed any "reserve price agreement" with the channel pointed out by JD.com's sales personnel. This is purely false information. The sales personnel are spreading rumors and misleading the media and netizens.
Haishi Electric stated that the JD purchaser and seller did not negotiate with the brand and unilaterally lowered the product price without authorization, and refused even after the brand clearly expressed its disagreement. For ovens sold at lower prices, the losses of each oven will be borne by the Hai's brand, rather than being subsidized by the platform as claimed by JD.com.
Haishi Electric stated that the behavior of JD.com’s purchasers and sales personnel ignored laws and regulations, disrupted market order, and seriously infringed upon the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and brands. It has currently launched evidence collection and related legal rights protection work in this regard.
