On October 24, at the 1024 Xpeng Motors Technology Day, Xpeng Motors announced that it will launch a split flying car. The flying car uses extended-range hybrid power to continuously replenish energy for the aircraft; 6X6 all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering; the land vehicle is equipped with a flying body that can automatically separate/combine, and the land vehicle can replenish energy for the flying body.

He Xiaopeng said that Xiaopeng actually made two versions of flying car route planning: supercar integrated type and land aircraft carrier split type. It is an integrated land and air flying car with a supercar shape. The flight system can be automatically folded and completely stored, and the steering wheel can be retracted and folded. The relevant person in charge revealed that this product is planned to be mass-produced and delivered in the next 2-3 years.

It is worth mentioning that in terms of safety technology, the world's first ultra-low-altitude multi-parachute life-saving system can still fly safely even after "dual rotor failure".

Previously, the world's first self-developed flying car, Xpeng Huitian, successfully conducted an ultra-low-altitude flight parachute test of less than 50 meters. It is understood that the XPeng Huitian Voyager X2 flew at an altitude of 50 meters. Multiple sets of large parachutes were quickly ejected and deployed.
