Airbnb is making it easier for hosts to find people to manage their Airbnbs. The new Co-Host Network is available starting today, allowing homeowners to compare co-hosts and work with hired co-hosts in the app. Third-party Airbnb management companies are already quite common, but for some users, setting up a network of co-hosts directly within the Airbnb app may be a more convenient option.
Co-hosts can help manage your listing and send messages to guests who have booked on your Airbnb. Hosts can also choose a partner host from a range of payment options, such as a cleaning fee, a percentage of each booking or a fixed amount.
Skift reports that Airbnb began piloting a co-host hiring service "a few years ago," but this new release marks the service's launch in the app and its expansion to countries including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
"With over 10,000 co-hosts in 10 countries, we make it easy to find the one that's perfect for you," Airbnb said in a blog post. "Our personalized ranking algorithm recommends a list of co-hosts based on more than 80 factors, including your location, host experience and property type. You'll see their profiles and reviews, and can contact them directly in the app."
Airbnb said its new winter 2024 version also includes "more than 50 upgrades for guests," including recommended destinations when clicking the search bar, personalized listing highlights, and a redesigned checkout page.
