Data from the DT Research Institute's "2023 Young People's Money Savings Survey Report" (hereinafter referred to as the report) shows that not having much savings is the current situation of most young people.

In this survey report, in which 1,852 people participated, nearly 90% of them came from first-tier, new first-tier and second-tier cities, and the post-90s and post-95s generations accounted for more than 70%, less than 50% had deposits of more than 100,000.

And for those with more than 300,000, only 20%. About one-fifth of the people have deposits of less than 10,000 yuan (not enough to buy an iPhone 15), and 53.7% of young people have deposits of less than 100,000 yuan.

Relevant experts said that it is reasonable for young people to not save much. However, low deposit levels also put certain pressure on young people's future development. Combined with other data, the overall savings rate of young people has been on an upward trend in recent years.
