Tesla Inc said on Tuesday it has started delivering its Cybertruck to customers in Canada, making Canada the third country the electric pickup truck has expanded to, after the United States and Mexico. Tesla's official account posted on X: "Cybertruck deliveries in Canada have begun."

"I want some Tim Hortons," Tesla wrote on its X account dedicated to the Cybertruck. Tim Hortons is a Canadian multinational coffee shop.

In September of this year, Cybertruck project manager Siddhant Awasthi said that Tesla may start delivering the stainless steel truck in Canada by the end of October.

In Canada, the base Cybertruck all-wheel drive model starts at CAD$137,990 (approximately US$101,505), while the more advanced Cyberbeast model starts at CAD$165,990 (approximately US$122,101).

Tesla began delivering the Cybertruck to U.S. customers in November last year and to Mexican customers at the end of September this year.

In February, Tesla showed off its full product lineup, including the Cybertruck, at the Canadian Auto Show in Toronto. At the time, a company executive confirmed that the electric vehicle would go on sale in Canada due to growing interest, but noted that they "had to submit some of the usual paperwork." In July of this year, Tesla confirmed that it planned to start delivering the car in Canada this year.
