Recently, Sony has launched a new color scheme - the net color series, including the DualSense controller and the PS5 Slim version of the replaceable host cover, which will be officially launched on November 7. We were lucky enough to receive the two styles of clear color indigo and clear color pearl white in advance. Here we will unbox and appreciate them with you.
First is the handle part.
Compared with the standard DualSense handle, there is no obvious difference in the grip between these two new colors. However, the net color system looks very sparkling and bright under the light, showing a glaze effect, giving people a texture between metal and jewelry, which is far better than the plain plastic polish of the standard color scheme.
Under the same lighting environment, among the two colors, the performance of pure indigo is obviously better. You can see that it has a light frosted texture, and the shiny particles make it mottled under the light.
The buttons also show an amethyst-like texture against the backdrop.
The pure pearl white is closer to a silver metallic texture under the light.
Next is the main case. It should be noted that it is only available for the PS5 slim model.
Each box includes 5 covers, one of which is a version with an optical drive installed. Installation is very simple, just pull out the original buckles of each cover and replace it with a new one.
After replacing the main case, the PS5slim has a completely new look.
In addition to the two colors of pure indigo and pure pearl white, the remaining pure green color will also be launched in the near future, so stay tuned.
