WeChat has finally released beta versions of apps for different architectures, allowing users to get a better WeChat experience on Linux systems.
Currently, the WeChat official website provides installation packages in deb, rpm, and AppImage formats for x86 and Arm platforms, while the LoongArch architecture provides deb format.
At present, WeChat PC version 4.0 has begun public testing, and it is not only synchronized under Windows and macOS systems,For the first time, the app stores of Unongxin UOS, deepin system, and Kirin system have been simultaneously launched. Both the interface and functions remain exactly the same.
It can support message recall, support browsing, refresh the circle of friends, revamp the address book interface, and support switching between dark and light modes.
Officials stated that the WeChat Linux 4.0 public beta version has been comprehensively reconstructed, not only achieving a breakthrough in architecture, but also achieving comprehensive functional alignment of different platforms.
