After the RTX40SUPER series has been rumored for a while, extremely reliable specifications have finally been revealed, because NVIDIA has provided relevant information to brand partners and it has spread quickly.
RTX4080SUPER:
PCB number is PG139-355,AD103-400The GPU core opens all 10240 CUDA cores and is equipped with 256-bit16GBGDDR6X video memory. The entire card consumes 320W and has a single 12VHPWR power supply interface.
RTX4070TiSUPER:
No. PG141-323, the core chip is still AD103, but the number is changed toAD103-275, which is a downgraded version. Only 8448 CUDA cores are open, and the video memory is also 256-bit16GBGDDR6X. The power consumption of the whole card is 285W, and a single 12VHPWR power supply interface.
RTX4070SUPER:
No. PG141-335, the core isAD104-350, the thermal design power consumption is 7168, the video memory is 192-bit12GBGDDR6, the power consumption of the whole card is 225W, and a single 12VHPWR power supply interface.
Compared with previous exposures, the number of CUDA cores and memory specifications are exactly the same. The power consumption is only slightly increased by 5W for RTX4070SUPER.
The biggest difference is the core number. It was previously rumored that the RTX4070TiSUPER will also have AD102-175, and the RTX4070SUPER will also have AD103-175. They are all significantly simplified from larger cores, but now they are gone.
One possibility is that NVIDIA did test this, but ultimately decided not to mix cores.
Another possibility is to add different cores later, which was often done before.
