Porsche's Macan fuel version will be officially discontinued this year. This decision was influenced by changing regulations and strict requirements on emissions, and the Porsche product planning team made this adjustment. Sebastian Staiger, head of the Porsche Macan product line, said that model development plans are gradually being restricted by these external factors.

In the domestic market, Porsche 4S stores have suspended the production of Macan gasoline models and stopped accepting related reservations. Currently, Porsche is actively digesting inventory, and all models enjoy a 20% discount.

Prior to this, some Shenzhen dealers quoted prices for the Macan that fell below 400,000 yuan - for example, the manufacturer's guide price for the 2024 Macan 2.0T was 578,000 yuan, and a Shenzhen dealer quoted a bare car with a minimum price of 358,000 yuan, which is equivalent to a 40% discount.

In addition, many models such as Taycan and Panamera are also on sale. However, continued price cuts failed to save Porsche's sales.

Recently, Porsche released its latest sales data. From January to September this year, it delivered a total of 226,026 cars to customers around the world, a year-on-year decrease of 7%.

From a regional perspective, the North American market replaced China as Porsche's largest single market. A total of 61,471 new cars were delivered in the first three quarters of this year, but it fell 5% year-on-year.

In the first three quarters, only 43,280 vehicles were delivered in the Chinese market, a 29% year-on-year drop, making it the single market with the largest decline for Porsche this year.
