We previously reported that Caleb McAlpine, a fan with terminal cancer, is looking forward to playing "Borderlands 4" in advance. He recently posted on the Reddit forum that Gearbox arranged for him to experience "Borderlands 4" in advance. He got his wish and thinks "Borderlands 4" is amazing.
McAlpine is a terminal cancer patient and may only live for two years. His wish is to play "Borderlands 4" in advance. Therefore, Gearbox invited him to the studio, allowing him to communicate face-to-face with series developers and try out "Borderlands 4" in advance.
McAlpine said: "On the 20th of this month, I visited the Gearbox studio and met CEO Randy Pitchford and all the other developers. They are an amazing group of people. I played "Borderlands 4" and it was great."
"I don't know if I'll be around when Borderlands 4 launches, but I just want to say thank you to all of you for your love and support and for helping me make this dream come true. It's been an amazing experience, just awesome!"
"Borderlands 4" will be released in 2025 on PS5, XSX|S and PC.
