On social media, a player shared how he survived after being hit by a truck while riding his bicycle, saying that his life was saved by the Xbox Series S in his backpack.
In the post, player BradonJ explained that he was riding home from GameStop, a retail store, when he was hit by a truck. Although he managed to save himself, he was eventually rolled under the car. The driver apparently didn't see him move on. According to him, he survived because the Xbox Series S in his bag prevented him from hitting his head.
The truck dragged him 12 feet (0.3 meters), and he was taken to the hospital with only a broken bone in his left leg and additional bruises. Not only that, he initially thought that the Xbox Series S must be broken, but later during the test, he found that it not only turned on normally, but also ran games without problems.
In the comments, the official Xbox account responded to the player, saying that while he was glad that he was fine, he also hoped to provide him with a new Xbox console for free. Many players later pointed out that this incident was the best publicity for Xbox. They should at least be given an Xbox Series X, and preferably a 2-year XGP, otherwise it would be too stingy.
GameStop also responded saying that it was glad that he was okay and also offered to provide a free new console. I wonder if this player will finally get two new consoles?
