After learning that Jiyue Automobile suffered a serious break in its capital chain, many suppliers from all over the country rushed to Jiyue Automobile's headquarters building and collectively demanded that Jiyue Automobile pay off the arrears as soon as possible.It is reported that a rights protection group spontaneously formed by Jiyue Automobile suppliers has rapidly expanded to more than 100 people.The business scope of these suppliers is wide, covering many key areas such as equipment supply, high-quality accessories, insurance services, electronic components and battery supply, and the payment required by Jiyue Automobile can reach up to 100 million yuan.

Specifically, the arrears of most suppliers are concentrated in the range of 1 million to 10 million yuan. What is particularly serious is that 19 suppliers have clearly registered their arrears in the rights protection group. The total arrears of these 19 companies is close to 96 million yuan, and the average arrears balance of each supplier exceeds 5 million yuan.

It is worth noting that before this, Jiyue Automobile has been known in the industry for its short payment cycle, usually between 45 days and 60 days, which is a relatively efficient category in the vehicle manufacturing industry.

However, in the past two months, Jiyue Automobile has suddenly changed its past payment habits and has begun to default on payments to suppliers on a large scale. In the face of inquiries from suppliers, the purchasing department's responses are mostly vague "uninformed."

Jiyue said that Jiyue arranges dedicated personnel to deal with suppliers' debts, responds promptly and communicates regularly; Jiyue's shareholders Baidu and Geely send people to solve problems.
