Laptops powered by Intel's Lunar Lake series of processors have slowly but steadily penetrated the market. Samsung has also taken the wraps off the Galaxy Book 5 Pro, which features an impressive AMOLED display and a claimed battery life of an astonishing 25 hours. The laptop will be available in South Korea on January 2, with a global rollout to follow.

Basically, the Book5 Pro is the more affordable sibling of the Book5 Pro360. Book5Pro does not use a 360° hinge, but the 360° hinge allows Book5Pro360 to achieve folding function. Of course, many people these days don't care at all about foldable functionality, and this newly released notebook is probably aimed at them.

This notebook is equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED screen and is available in 14-inch and 16-inch versions. Although the resolution is not explicitly mentioned, it is certain that the specifications are similar to the Book 5 Pro 360, whose 16-inch version uses a 2.8K panel.

Interestingly, even the processor options of this laptop have not been announced, but it is likely to use the same Core Ultra7256V processor as the foldable laptop. Samsung claims that its battery life is up to 25 hours, but under normal use, this number is certainly difficult to achieve. In addition, the machine is also equipped with a four-speaker (2W+2W) sound system.
