Frore Systems, the manufacturer of AirJet cooling solutions, demonstrated the effectiveness of its cooling chips on Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge, resulting in a 50% performance improvement. The laptop is the thinnest on the market at just 10.9mm. The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge 14" proof-of-concept machine upgraded with AirJet technology has achieved an incredible 50% improvement in sustained CPU & AI performance.

FroreSystems will showcase upgraded Samsung laptops at the 2025 US Consumer Electronics Show (CES2025) in January this year.

Frore Systems has achieved a 50% performance improvement on the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge 14" by replacing the two large fans currently used in laptops with four AirJet chips, increasing the continuous operating power from 12 watts to 18 watts. This innovative solution reduces the footprint of the cooling solution by 45% - the fan footprint is 8800 square millimeters, compared to the AirJet footprint of only 4800 square millimeters.

The extremely compact AirJet solution thus creates additional internal space for the Galaxy Book 4 Edge 14", making it possible to increase the battery capacity from the current 55.9Wh to 64.8Wh (a 16% increase) and extend the video runtime from 20 to 23.2 hours.

The AirJet solution achieves this while also enabling a sleeker ID, being dust- and water-resistant, eliminating the need for the fan intake vents on the back of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge, while maintaining quiet operation and an ultra-thin profile of just 10.9mm, continuing its enviable status as the thinnest laptop.

Compared with the MacBook Air 15", which is only 11.5 mm thick, the AirJet-upgraded Galaxy Book 4 Edge is not only thinner, but also exceeds the MacBook Air by 50% and 29% in performance and battery life respectively.

The Galaxy Book 4 Edge 14" equipped with AirJet can achieve 18w sustained CPU & AI performance and 23.2 hours of video playback time, while the MacBook Air 15" is only 12w and 18 hours.

At CES in 2025, you will see an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge 14" equipped with AirJet, as well as a range of commercial products produced by FroreSystems customers and using AirJet solid-state active cooling technology.

FroreSystems will showcase additional proof-of-concept devices upgraded with AirJet chips and AirJetPAK, a plug-and-play solid-state active cooling module targeting industrial and smart city edge AI devices that delivers AI performance in an ultra-compact, lightweight, silent, vibration-free, dustproof and waterproof industrial-grade enclosure.
