Today, Tianma Microelectronics announced,Tianma Micro-LED production line has successfully completed the entire process in Xiamen.The PID standard display unit module independently developed and produced by Tianma was lit at the full-process completion ceremony.
This standard module is based on Tianma LTPS-based glass backplane.Using the all-laser mass transfer process independently developed by Tianma Micro-LED production line, it can break the traditional display size restrictions and achieve borderless splicing displays without size restrictions.
Tianma said,The production line adopts an all-laser production process and is equipped with customized fully automatic mass transfer and bonding equipment.
During the construction of the production line, more than 30 types of mass production equipment and materials were jointly developed by Tianma and upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain for the first time, realizing the integration of the production line with independent technology as the core.
It is reported that Tianma began to lay out Micro-LED technology in 2017 and has successively released Micro-LED display products such as high transparency, seamless splicing, adjustable transparency, ultra-low anti-transparency, and ultra-high PPI.
