This third-generation Snapdragon 7 uses TSMC's 4nm process technology. The CPU has a 4-large and 4-small design, consisting of one 2.63GHz core, three 2.40GHz cores and two 1.80GHz cores. Its performance is 15% higher than that of the first-generation Snapdragon 7.
The GPU is Adreno720, and officials say the performance is improved by 50%.
While performance is improved, the overall power consumption of the SoC is reduced by 20%.
The most important thing is that this third generation Snapdragon 7 has brought all-round improvements in performance, imaging, AI and other aspects, taking the overall mobile phone experience to a new level.
AI performance per watt is increased by 60%, face detection accuracy is increased by 15%, and it supports sensor hubs. It is also equipped with a three-ISP design that is in line with the 8 series. The image is greatly enhanced, and it supports AI pixel rearrangement, AI noise reduction, 4K calculation HDR shooting, etc.
