"Sonic the Hedgehog" movie series has exceeded $1 billion in global box office

According to news from Paramount Pictures, the global box office of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series has now exceeded US$1 billion. The third film in the series, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3", will be released in North America on December 20, 2024, and will be released in mainland China on January 10.

The box office of "Sonic the Hedgehog" in 2020 is close to US$320 million. The box office of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" in 2022 is close to US$405 million. The total box office of the series has exceeded US$1 billion.
