AI glasses brand Halliday announced that it will launch an innovative smart glasses at the CES2025 exhibition, claiming to be the world's first active artificial intelligence (ProactiveAI) glasses.A common problem with traditional smart glasses is that their appearance is more conspicuous. The use of lenses or protruding components can easily make onlookers aware that the wearer is engaging in activities such as gaming, resulting in a lack of privacy.
Halliday's new glasses solve this problem by using DigiWindow technology.A small dot on the upper right side of the frame projects information within the wearer's natural line of sight, displaying a 3.5-inch screen in the upper right corner of the line of sight without interfering with the main line of sight.
The glasses are designed to weigh only 35 grams and connect to smartphones via Bluetooth. The built-in active AI agent can analyze the conversation content and proactively provide information and suggestions.
Users can get a variety of features without triggering prompts, including making contextual suggestions, capturing and summarizing audio memos, checking messages and notifications, instant translation, navigation assistance and more.
In addition, the glasses also feature conference teleprompter and cheat sheet functions to help users communicate and record more effectively in business or academic settings, with controls including a trackpad ring, voice commands, and an interface on the frame.
Halliday expects to begin shipping the smart glasses by the end of the first quarter of 2025, with prices ranging from $399 to $499.
