Samsung has released new Galaxy Book 5 Pro and 360 laptops, which use the Arrow Lake Core Ultra processor equipped with NPU (but not compliant with CoPilot Plus standard) announced by Intel earlier today as an upgraded version of the Lunar Lake processor-powered device released by Samsung in September.

Samsung said that the new Book5 Pro and 360 foldable laptops/tablets "enrich" the Galaxy Book AI PC product line and highlight its AI software capabilities, including an AISelect application similar to Circle-to-Search and an AI image retouching tool called PhotoRemaster. These features have been launched on the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 and appeared on last year’s Galaxy Book 4 Edge equipped with Snapdragon XElite.

GalaxyBook5Pro includes 14-inch and 16-inch models, each equipped with an AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880x1800 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Pro also has "VisionBooster" technology that "uses tone mapping to adjust contrast and color," making it easier for users to see screen content when working outdoors.

Samsung says the 16-inch model can play up to 25 hours of video per charge, while the 14-inch model can play up to 21 hours per charge. At the same time, the Galaxy Book 5360 uses a 1080p 15.6-inch AMOLED screen and can play videos for "up to 31 hours."

All three models have Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A port, HDMI and microSD card slots. They are available with Intel Core Ultra5 or 7 "Evo" processors and 16GB or 32GB of memory. Storage capacities are available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. Pricing has not yet been announced, but all products will ship in the US, Canada, UK and other markets starting in February.
