After Musk caused controversy by supporting so-called "anti-Semitic" remarks, American hedge fund tycoon and CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management Bill Ackman unexpectedly came out to defend him. Musk supported an "anti-Semitic" post on X last Wednesday, saying the post told the "truth." This has led to serious consequences. Some major advertisers have announced the suspension of advertising on the X platform, and some Tesla investors and the White House have also slammed Musk's remarks.
However, Ackman, who has firmly supported Israel in the latest round of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, stepped forward to defend Musk this time.
In a post over the weekend, Ackman said Musk was not anti-Semitic and agreed with conservative political expert Ben Shapiro's assessment of the incident.
Ackman also said: "It's surprising that Musk's reckless comments attracted attacks from around the world so quickly. Musk is not perfect, but the world is a better place because of him."
In early October, Ackman expressed interest in engaging with Musk's Company
