According to AMD product and business development manager Martijn Boonstra,The gaming performance of the two processors Ryzen 99950X3D and Ryzen 99900X3D will be comparable to the Ryzen 79800X3D.Boonstra said: "Some games will perform better (if the game engine utilizes more cores and threads), and some games will perform slightly worse (if the game engine favors a 1CCD configuration), but overall the experience will be comparable."
So what’s so good about these two processors?Although similar to the Ryzen 79800X3D in terms of gaming performance, the Ryzen 99950X3D and 9900X3D perform better in productivity and creative applications.
AMD claims that the Ryzen 99950X3D performs about 10% better than Intel's top chip, the Core Ultra 9285K, in multi-threaded creative applications such as Photoshop.
Therefore, AMD may market these two processors to professional creators and game-focused users, while the Ryzen 79800X3D will continue to be targeted at ordinary game enthusiasts.
The Ryzen 79800X3D has been on the market for several months, but the market supply is still tight. It is hoped that the launch of the Ryzen 99950X3D and 9900X3D can alleviate this situation, but AMD has not yet announced the specific prices of these two processors.
