Daily Interactive today released big data on China’s smartphone market in 2024, which revealed who is buying Huawei phones. The report shows that with the full return of the Mate60 series and Pura70 series, Huawei performed well in the Android market in the fourth quarter.
Judging from the city-level distribution of Android smartphone brands, Huawei's dominance in first-tier and new first-tier cities is unshakable. Daily interactive big data found that compared with the middle of last year, the acceptance of Huawei mobile phones by the three major groups of 25-34 years old, 35-44 years old and 45+ years old has increased; and in the market dominance of the 18-24 year old age group, OV is still taking turns to compete with Xiaomi.
Big data also provided insights into users of Huawei's tri-fold mobile phones, and found that the user group portrait shows the following characteristics: Most of them are high-income groups in high-tier cities. Their TGI in first-tier cities reaches 2.09, and their high consumption level characteristics reach 1.90. They have strong economic strength to support their purchase of high-end products.
In terms of age distribution, there are obvious characteristics of the 25-34-year-old group who love to try new things and the 35-44-year-old group whose economic income is relatively stable. These users have a high degree of acceptance and pursuit of technological products, and focus on product innovation and unique experience.
At the same time, compared with women, the characteristics of male users of Huawei's three-fold mobile phone are more obvious, reaching 1.32, which is twice the characteristics of female users.
In the final analysis, those who buy Huawei mobile phones recognize the brand value and technological innovation, and they also have sufficient financial support.
